Staycation

took kitty for a short break.the staycation had him excited and running zoomies.we took a portable cage n his favourite toys but he was making noise in a strange environment.i let him inside and he explored every corner n loved running up n down the stairs n drinking from the fountain.Asian friends are hospitable.ive stayed in kota baru at my varsitys mate home or in melaka or kuantan.i welcome my friends to stay at my home if they need a place to stay in.we explore street food n various tourist sites together n cook local delicacy.its a custom to open up our homes to relatives n friends. at night kitty refused to sleep in the new place.he had separation anxiety n followed me everywhere from the kitchen to outside the toilet.he only took a cat nap when i dozed next to him he is like a baby. i cooked hotpot with frozen meat shabu shabu n ginger ale with fresh orange n pineapple juice. jun screeched it was creepy to see a chicken head in the boiling soup.i ate the neck and chicken legs.chinese use it to flavour the soup.i dont eat chicken head but fish head curry is yummy thankful to buy frozen meat sliced so thinly at the factory which i dont have the knife skill to cut it.some expert china chefs can even cut a block of tofu into petals of chrysanthemum flowers.so impressed.wish i have the energy to master the culinary art but a commercial kitchen is different from home cooking.stamina n strength n agility is needed.the pots are huge n heavy
