I miss the kebabs i ate when i visited Turkey years ago.the turkish pizza or pide was scrumptious and the mouthwatering stuffed eggplant karniyarik with minced meat,bell pepper cubes ntomato paste was unforgettable.the shopkeepers were so friendly and served us cups of apple tea.i still have the porcelain blue wall clock ftom Izmir.
I baked mashed sweet potato topped with butter n parmesan and the crust smells fragrant.better than scentless cheddar.
After that i marinated chicken breast with greek yoghurt,oregano,cumin,paprika,garlic n onion for 4 hours before grilling with tomato,onions n bell pepper.then made a salad of mango n blueberry.had a pomegranate cranberry juice.the cost of meal is only rm13 per person but would cost a bomb if i dine out with sales tax n service charge n parking fees.its healthy to cook ar home. Now my next recipe will be stuffed eggplant but its hard to find middleeast spice like sumac in malaysia.ill substitute with lemon juice .in upmarket supermarket now i buy truffle sauce in bottles.i love the pungence
