Building requires making changes to the natural environment whether from deforestation,changes to water retention and micro climate change like rise in surface temperature on the ground.good sustainable practices and environmentally friendly designs can mitigate some effects .
Because contruction is big business,are we facing a glut in supply of residential and commercial property? Soon we will have ghost malls at the way they build shopping malls everywhere or just to increase the purchase price of condos by building them above malls .there are so many abandoned shophouses in some residential estates as there arent enough big population of residents to sustain them .look at the ghost malls n empty commercial spaces in Cyberjaya or ForestCity in Johor.when they change the visa requirement for malaysia my second homes,the foreign applicants like digital nomads will migrate to more affordable and attractive places in Bali,Vietnam or Thailand.
So when will the asset bubble burst?
