Apart from resting,finally ive the time to read the books i bought a long time ago at the big bad wolf sale and popular discount book sale.im reading now on the rise of Artificial intelligence and how machines have the ability to think like humans and are learning at an accelerated rate.what does it imply when machines master human thoughts but not the emotions?
Then the other 3 books are about the son of an Isis leader and his choice to turn his back on religious extremism,the present war in Ukraine and how elites set up offshore accounts in the Panama papers.
Books in the library in Msia are quite outdated and dont keep abreast with current affairs.i feel the youths of Singapore,Japan n China are more widely read than our Malaysian youths.How can we instill the reading habits in our children when the adults are poor role model by not reading at all except gossip,entertainment n fake news.there are plenty of children books in book shops but the books on current affairs or serious subject matters limited in scope except for self help books,cookbooks or how to get rich faster.
