 The pan african congress raise consciousness of the racism n colonization of african states and led to fight for independence from western imperialism.the formation of Asean also unified developing nations of south east asia nations previously colonised by the west to pool their resources and rebuild intranational solidarity.

The undeveloped and developing third world nations raise the educational level of its citizens,formed sovereign wealth funds,invested in infrastructure building and developed progressive policies that gave their people better standards of living.

Now what these two organizations did has now evolved into BRICS.it has created a platform for multipolarity where trade ,commerce,infrastructure buildimg can cooperate and improve standards of living.the difference is it has evolved to be a more open inclusive organization including latin american nations,middle eastern nations and hopefully central asian and west indies and pacific islands.these small nations rely on fishing n tourism and when rising sea levels due to climate change threatens them,then more advanced tech nations can aid by building floating towns,floating solar farms,hydroponic agriculture,fish farming,desalination plants and etc to help them survive impact of global warming.they need food and energy and fresh water security and be self sustainable on renewal resources.in exchange,they can export seafood and marine resources to richer nations

Its has to be what the proverb says when the tides rises,it will lift up all boats.
