Final farewell

Last nite i went to St Ignatius church to pay my final respect to dear Sister Enda.I bumped into my favourite beloved English literature teacher Miss Anita Lopezwho is a carmelite nun now.She puts her heart n soul in teaching Shakespeare to poetry and plays.i fell in love with English literature and at first year varsity it was a honeymoon year as we were taught the same texts that she chose for us to study.what an inspirational teacher and she was happy some of her former students have now entered the teaching profession to pass on her legacy to the younger generation.she is in her 80s now and still so sharp n alert. the price of grocery has shot up.i cant afford shopping at upmarket Aeon or Jaya Grocer anymore but buy at cheaper Lotus,Giant n NSK hypermart.for the food bill for a week i need to spend at least rm 200 on meat,fruit,vegetable,breakfast cakes n muffins.in Klang valley a small family with 2 growing children needs to spend more than 300 ringgit a week and thats a conservative estimate cooking 3 meals at home n not including cost of cooking gas,rice,cooking oil,pasta n bread. i went NSK to get a weeks fruit n meat for 2 meals and it cost rm100 for two of us.the dory fish is for dinner and the ramly satay for lumch. a packet,chicken meatloaf n eggs. two bao for breakfast for one week and grapes from india and blueberry from Morroco and thai mango.i.bought wash cloths,condiment and a packet amgel hair pasta.frozen mixed vege,,chicken stock cube n a packet of soya bean.milk.
