ARise from a fall

its been exactly one year to recall the fall i had last year in the kitchen and fractured my patella.jun had to call emergency ambulance to send me to hospital for a surgery.this morning,the cheeky son pulled my leg by reminding me.mom,its been exactly a year today as i was lacing up my trainers to workout."go break a leg".choy!i hate staying bedridden in hospital n moving around disabled in a wheelchair.the darkest moment in my life.today i feel good to train outdoors.i bought damn good chicken curry puffs and a cup of soya bean to celebrate.but the bloody monkeys snatched my cup of soya bean on the bench,gulped the whole cup n smacked its lips.i screamed at the bloody thief.if i had an air gun i would shoot the snatchthief.anyway next time i learn a lesson,dont bring food n drinks to the park .

i bought a seabass from taman tun wet market as the price was rm 22 a kilo compared to rm 25 a kilo in ss2 wet market.i run to two wet markets n different shops to get the best price.chicken is cheaper by rm 3 at ss2 wet market.i usualyy buy fresh fish n meat to cook cantonwse food on weekends as to steam fish n chicken,i buy the freshest ingredients.so i cooked stwamwd thai garlic lime seabass for dinner n stir fried sugarsnap peas,lotus root n waterchestnut with gingko nuts.i love the crunchy vegetables.on sunday i baked mini apple tarts.so for breakfast this morning i had a fruit salad of blueberry n nectarines my friend gave me,the cashew milk my son bought me and the tart,banana bread n walnut biscuit i made.so satisfying n healthy to eat at home.i use sugar substitute in baking my pastry.yummy for tummy

Horrible cold rainy day

its been raining heavily since early morning.altho i had umbrella n raincoat i got soaking wet when i entered the car and when i went to pick up grocery in the rain.i was shivering n sneezing as my clothes were wet n my trainers wet too.thetemp dropped to 24 to 26 o celsius. im a hot blooded animalmore used to tropical heat so i wa

s cold n miserable.good to get back to a warm,cozy home,make a hot steaming cup of breakfast tea and have a hot steaming shower.im in the pink of health so gonna keep fit n strong.gonna bake banana bread to keep warm.im not a snow queen.gimme hot,sunny days.

it started raining lightly so i took umbrella n disposable raincoat.so i did workout until heavy downpour and i wasnt gonna be struck by lightning so u took shelet at a pavilion until rain stopped.
