Gordon Liu Star of Kill Bill

Hong Kong martial artist Gordon Liu is a shadow of his former self when he suffered a stroke in his mid 50s and was semi paralysed,unable to speak n wheelchair bound.i hope he will recover with rehabilitation now he is living in a nursing home. he used to be so vigorous n energetic playing the role of a monk in shaolin movies n TVB dramas.His ex wife and 4 children didnt take care of him and luckily his good friend Amy Fan took care of him for 8 years,becoming his legal guardian n helping him recover his financial assets kept by his personal assistant. so in this era,having a family of ones own is no guarantee one wont be abandoned in old age.the Chinese used to say marriage n having children is social security for old age.how wrong.the husband may die first or divorce and the children may be incapacitated by mental n physical illness or are unfilial n selfish.so in the end Gordon Liu is lucky to have a good friend who cares for him in his worst moment in life.hope the poor guy can get to move on in life.
