After my rage against the primates cool off,i could see the funny side of my encounter.the enroachment of humans on its habitat,clearing forest for building roads and condos caused the shrinking of food supply.the poor monkeys were so hungry and after foraging and not finding food,they went on a rampage where us humans always had food for picnics,chocolate and snacks.its the same situation wild elephants raid farms to get food so there must be an eco sustainable solution to it.
The article on Venerable Robina Courtin let me see that both wisdom and compassion coexist in us.We Malaysians are always looking out for food and so too our fellow primates.Would planting banana trees and fruit trees in the forest reserve ensure constant supply of food for them.
As buddhist teaching say live and let live.
