I took the lord buddha in a cardboard box to the shrine hall in bodhi vihara to be blessed on auspicious wesaķ day by bhante.full insurance cover include paritta chanting .im fully ptotected. May i be free from harm and danger.may i be free from pain and suffering.may i be well and happy.i have placed a scroll of the heart sutra in the japanese alcove.my tea and meditation corner.
May i not encounter any dead body from resident who commit suicide by jumping down or those who drop dead in car park.
I guess what led lord Buddha to search for enlightenment was when he was traumatised after seeing an old man,a sick man and a dying man after being so fully sheltered from pain and suffering in his palace.
Thats why i have great respect for those working in the medical profession for they deal with pain,suffering and death daily.yet they respond with patience,compassion and empathy because if they are negatively impacted,it will cloud their professionalism and so being detached gives them composure and decisive judgement
