The dark art

 Buddha condemned the supersitious practices of the occult and dabbling in black magic to get wealth or power.

As a Theravada  buddhist,

i detest the black magic practices that seeks to use spirits to do harm as practised in the folk rituals of thais and myanmar.Spirits should stay in their world and not be used in the human realm to be a source of empowerment and manipulation

The power of witchdoctors to use aborted fetus for kumanthongs or child spirit and fed with blood sacrifice to do the bidding of its owner is sick and twisted and a big shame for Buddhists to practise.The use of amulets and love potions are also going against the dhamma or teachings and is a deviant cult practice.Now Thais are into devil worship and doing animal sacrifice to a bloodthirsty black winged and fanged monster in the capital city.i just woke up from a nightmare where deviants were capturing and killing small kids as human sacrifice to the monstrosity of a devil.

I feel the worship of money and power and materialism has blinded thais to the true values of the pure dhamma teachings.

Its disgusting and gross to see enactments of devilish statues.yes the Chinese erect statues of God of Hell during the hungry ghost festival in the seventh montb to remind us to provide for those lost and homeless wandering souls waiting to be reborn to the next world.we dont worship the god of hell per se but appease the spirits under his control so that they will not starve or go hungry and the intention is out of compassion to relieve their suffering but not for our own selfish profiteering.the food and rice donated by devotees are later given to charity .

Im glad Buddhism as practised in Sri Lanka has kept to the tenets of the true dhamma.the Sri Lankans are one of the biggest organ donors

 and give hope to those who need organ transplant.thats life giving and merciful.im also

 proud of the forest monks tradition that is into environmental protection.the monks in perth

 australia are at the forefront of preventing

 deforestation of the Jarrah forests through

 mining.the recent drought and wildfires due to

 climate change is a wake up call to preserve

 forests.

I had a restless nite with recurrent nightmares

Of a black winged fanged devil catching babies in his red blood soaked talons to suck the lifeforce to increase his power.

I meditated at dawn to calm my mind.thats when i had the realization that monsters and devils that come in human form are

more dangerous like the young pretty British blonde haired white nurse who murdered  

7 babies in the neo natal care unit in a hospital by injecting insulin or air bubbles into their veins.thats more grotesque than a blood sucker devil.or the brilliant scientist inventor of the atomic bombs burning alive or injuring 200,000 civilians in nagasaki n hiroshima in the second world war.the devils in disguise are more scary for they look like you and me.namo buddhaya.
