I bought a big pomelo.i ate a few slices.the rest
I used segments to make a thai pomelo salad for dinner with boiled shrimp,mock abalone slices,lime juice,nam pla,coriander leaves,bird eye chilli n roasted crushed peanuts.i love the piquant sourish salad.then some pimelo i made a sweet dessert like hong kong honeydew sago but i used pomelo,sago,basil seeds in rose syrup and coconut milk.the hong kong dessert of honeydew pomelo is a creative recipe from Hong Kong like snowskin mooncakes or bubble tea from Taiwan that uses huge sago.i prefer modern desserts to old fashioned red bean soup,barley gingko nut or black glutinous rice sweet soup.
