Cooking is a labour of love
Cooking is fun coz i get to eat.unlike learning an academic subject the results are not tangible,learning a skill like swimming or dancing or cooking is tangible
My Cantonese genes love experimenting in the kitchen.i also like painting but you cant eat pastel or acryllic.
i hope to expand my culinary skills when the new course has a F N B component and they may invite the chef lecturer to demonstrate his skills.i wanna see how a commercial kitchen works. up i have sampled chefs Cream Brulee and its out of this world.hope to learn French technique of sous vide or how to make a roulade or confit or souffle.
i love western food.my lunch i ate homecooked meatloaf with barbeque sauce with hickory smpke flavour,a macaroni and a glass of ginger ale.dinner i cooked pan seared tilapia fillets coated with cheese n garlic and breadcrumbs fried in lemon butter.side salad is greek feta,olives,rock melon,grapes n tomatos in greek yoghurt ,mashed sweet potato.its a culinary adventure.
