Food bank

today i bought some dry goods like canned sardines,instant noodles,biscuits etc and brought four bags of grocery to donate to the food bank.i was buying takeout yong tau fu at seapark when i saw some tables at a thai cafe thai mama next door with a sign food bank.the kind hearted boss collects food to distribute to destitute families.i feel grateful im healthy n can enjoy cooking good food when my fellow malaysians are going hungry.some are too shy to wave the white flag to ask for help,so she gets volunteers to send the food to impoverished families every week.do our politicians realise the extent of suffering when economy collapses during lockdown after lockdown with no signs of covid nos.dropping.the failure to revive economy is obvious even five star hotels and airlines are going out of business.we need fresh,new blood to change the status quo as the same old people have failed in doing so.people committing suicide is a sign of national hopelessness and despair.people can see darkness ahead instead of light at the end of the tunnel.dont ask them to makan angin dan minum air.a hungry man is an angry man!
