This Lunar New Year,the people are really living it up .the tradition is kept alive by the younger generation.i was eating at a kopi tiam next to the wet market when a lion dance troupe came to greet us.im proud to see the lion dancers n musicians were young people below the age of 24 with all races,Indian,Chinese n Malay playing cymbals n drums.firecrakers were lit n the lion dancers give lettuce,pomelo n tangerines to eat.its so much joy n merriment.then I saw this bunch of bananas on a tree that inspire me to plant papaya tree in my garden.
