This year is coming to an end.My dearest wish is to see the freedom of a prisoner of conscience the Lady or Mother of Myanmar.She should not be forgotten by Asean as the democracy icon has sacrificed a big part of her personal freedom for the people of Myanmar.She has never advocated violent means to rule the nation ,If Burma issue is not handled well,the Union of Myanmar may fracture as separate states will secede from the federation like the break up of Yugoslavia into Bosnia and Serbia n Croatia ,Kosovo,Montenegro after the fall of the military dictator Tito or separation of Aceh from Indonesia.The complex ethnic and linguistic diverse tribes may use violence to press for independence and what General Aung San has seeked for an independent,united Burma shattered to pieces Things fall apart when the centre cannot hold. SO FREEDOM TO LEAD has to be restored to NLD as they won the legit elections and were the voice of the civilianss. Im saddened by Aung Sans son to sell the family house as it is a national hetitage that shows the legacy of the man who fought for his nation to be independent.Hope no one buys it for commercial exploitation and whoever buys it, ,may they be cursed for many generations to come.Ironic it is Aung Sans daughter who continued the fight of her father for the peoples freedom but not his son.Anyway look at Indira Gandhi,another daughter of a pivotal Indian political leader Jawaharlal Nehru who carried on legacy of her father.
