When can I fly again?

When will i be free and well to travel?

My travel lust is aching real bad and when will borders be opened to fly again.I'm so sick and tired of being imprisoned by this global lockdown when even public parks and forest reserves are closed to the public. Its downright depressing to be cut off from the natural forest bathing and being glued to indoor preoccupation. My mind is starting to unravel and soon I'll be driven up the wall.Im virtually sucked into an unreal world of cyber surfing.I would much pefer the open forests, warm seas and sandy beaches.Looking through holodays pics makes me happy and uplift my mood a little.

Meat free

trying to go meat free for two meals perday is possible when i look for meat substitutes.in a look by an american doctor on the China study,it was surprising that the lean years of famine, war n food deprivation contributed to extending life span especially with high consumption of vegetablez but the heavy increase in meat consumption and oily food caused a surge in obesity, heart diseases n a plethora of illnesses.thinking of buying beyond meat but its pricy so i will use locally produced mock meat.

Lunch n dinner

lunch is brown rice quinoa vwrmucelli with minced mock soy protein chicken, shitake myshroom braised in oyster sauce, peanuts, salted tientsin vegetable n nori seaweed,so tasty although meat free.dinner is grilled curry powder n fenugrek chicken with pandan leavez n angled loofah with prawn paste n taufu in egg sauce.so hungry tonite

Self care and self love

spending me time to chill out is important for ourselves when we re so busy doing and not being in the moment.

Still thoughts on a rainy night

its 5am,the darkest hour before dawn.the loud rumble of thunder woke me up from deep slumber.i sit by my window and gazed at the flashes of lightning and heavy rain lashing on the trees.the palm fronds near the swimming pool are swaying violently in the thunderstorm as the pitter patter of raindrops strike the glass windowpanes.i love the brutal forces of nature clashing in a splendid display.inspired me to meditate and still my turbulent mind.thinking of it inspired a sketch and read the platform sutra by zen monk huineng, the sixth patriach who was illiterate but understood satori.still thoughts on a rainy nite to seek inner peace.
