Good malay cuisine from chef wan
jun and buddy dined in at dewan space,a fine dining of Malay cuisine.jun knows i love good food and took some containers for takeaway.unluckily the 3 big eaters love the Malay cuisine and ate everything,licking the plates clean so jun ordered freshly cooked rendang,telur masin and vege that came up to more tham rm100.he surely knows how to pamper me as the way to my heart is through my stomach.
its value for money as fine dining like chinese overseas restaurant or seafood places charge top price for creative well cooked food of high standard.i love the way the salted egg is poached and the rendang took hours to simmer.
jun says the deco is beautifully furnished like a 5 star Michellin restaurant n the service impeccable tho my country bumpkin son got reprimanded by his pals for wearing bathroom slippers to a top class restaurant n behaving badly by bringing his own plastic containers in a cheap plastic bag.i love the creative copy on dewan takeaway bag tho they could do better with a pretty design like songket or a wau or pictures of malay cuisine served on silverware.the brown bag is like the proverbial doggy bag in western restaurants.
