Tong yuen malay style

the Malays in Kelantan also eat tong yuen or glutinous rice balls.they call it Puteri mandi or princess bathing or badak berendam or hippo soaking in water.the soup is coconut milk with pandan leaves,the balls are small n colored with tumeric,pandan etc. so this is the way Malays eat tong yuen but chinese make a ginger syrup but i make lemongrass.cultures fusion food
