The price of chicken went down from rm9.40 to rm 7.80 per kg in Giant hypermart after subsidy was removed.a customer bought 10 chickens as he said his family is big and they stock up for a month.i wanted to do so but no point as theres no space.hoping the price will be stable.
Poultry is the cheapest protein compared to seafood,pork,beef or lamb.even mock soy meat is costly due to extensive processing n flavouring so its not healthy to eat too much beans.
