Question it

Buddhism doesnt encourage blind faith but in the Kalam

a sutra,Buddha asks us to question and test out if what he taught is true.so i feel organized religious structures put restrictions on what is true or false as interpreted by its intermediary.
But Buddhism is basically experiential.so individual Buddhist exponents in the West like Robert Wright and Stephen Batchelor examines Buddhism detached from its belief system and cultural baggage.
Look at Tina Turner and how Buddhism empowered her to let go of pain n suffering of an abusive marriage ,loss of health due to serious illness and death of her two sons. She weathered the ups and downs of life with hope and positivity and she reinvented herself to revive a flagging musical career.she embody buddhist value of letting go of fear n hate n gainimg wealth, fame n love in return.i think organized religion is  restrictive, prescriptive and punitive.spirituality is liberating n empowering.
