Batik painting

this afternoon temperature hit 34 degree celsius.i stayed home to read and painted a batik of an Indian elephant.smeared blue paint over my face and now look like blue avatar Do i need to reproduce exactly the landscape i see in taman aman park like how the urban sketchers did but i wanna show my own rendition of the landscape in abstract expressionism.is that ok as its how i feel when i recreated it from memory and not a photograph of the view.
