yipee yahoo Nick Cheuk won an award at the Asian Film Award for Promising New director.He deserves the recognition for his talent but the fact that a newbie like Malaysian director Amandas movie Tiger Stripe and the movie im dying to see Snow in Midsummer also made it into the Asian film award shortlist is something to be proud of.Whatever the language,a good story well told will capture the heart of viewers.im also happy that Wallace Chung won the Outstanding Actor award at the Seoul international drama award for his role in the drama Because of Love.The drama had me losing sleep chasing episode after episode of a puppy love that saw so much suffering as the lovers broke up and each went their own way until fate reunites them.Wallace is a talented actor.,not easy as he has to learn stunts in action movies and to act in period drama,learn how to ride horses,archery and martial arts.when reel life has to imitate real life,the actor has to be versatile to do all types of skills from handling guns to swords.
