Love yourself first

The movie YOLO sends a strong message on importance of loving yourself first instead of looking for someone to love you. i bellieve that hope exists on earth xi wang chai ren jian.i met a very depressed over 70 year old man who had stroke and needed to use a walking stick to walk.he was at a cafe in our apartment block lamenting about the loss of his leg and inability to grasp the chopstick to eat n his slur made it difficult for others to listen to him.his buddies consoled him that he will recover when he expressed suicidal thoughts of jumping down from his unit and how family members treat him as a burden.better i die a quick death from cancer.he does not know that a slow lingering death from cancer is like hell on earth. i also admire this 82 year old widow in the park.She is friendly n chatty and stays with her daughter n grandkids near the park.i see her without fail rain or shine exercising in the park.she uses the workout machines like the rowing machine n cross ski machine and the reflexology path of stones.a real joie de vivre for living life.She chats and socialize with the regular park goers n teaches me traditional cantonese recipes as she worked as a food caterer in her younger days .She knows how to crack jokes n pokes fun at younger exercisers who give up at the workout machines.she was happy when i gave her 2 disposable raincoats.this morning i caught her enjoying herself playing on the swing like a small kid .she lives in the moment
