Korean toppoki

The novel by a Korean piqued my curiosity to buy and cook toppoki for dinner.The korean stall Mama Kim at Ming Tien food court sells home cooked korean food like bulgogi .i tried the kimbap but she uses local rice not calrose rice so the mouth feel is different.lts made with seaweed nori with cucumber n tuna inside.looks like japanese sushi.korean,japanese n chinese food share commonalities like mandul,gyonza n jiao zhi.so i bought toppoki from Daiso and a korean manufactured spicy tóppoki saice.with cpnvenience store CU n korean supermarts in KL,i buy spices for japchae,toppoki n soy garlic chicken.maybe i will boil samgyetang soup in cold weather verdict i love chewy toppoki dumpling better than soft pillowy gnocchi.thetopppoki sauce is like Sichuan mala.its damn hot n fiery. pedas gila syiok betul.my tongue is numb now
