being a single parent is hard trying to buy adequate food supply n household utility amid rising cost of living in cities.im thankful for Saras aid that provide me with basics like rice,cooking oil,canned food,detergents and toiletries.the savings i get from Saras aid. relieve how i budget my household spending.but i wish to use it to buy fresh food instead of canned food and fresh fruit n vege instead of canned food. the system can be finetuned to include mom and pop stores as not everyone can go to established supermarkets especially the elderly and disabled. with those parents the use of sara on buying milk powder or diapers help a lot but what about adult diapers?

Sweet memories

get togethers are made memorable through sharing food.so the weekday senior citizens group of 9 ages ranging from late 80s to 60s had annual dinner to celebrate winter solstice at a coffee shop.it was a wet and rainy nite but the chit chat and laughter added to the warmth.one member cooked tang yuen or sweet glutinuouss rice balls. the next day i celebrated my sons birthday by eating tiramisu and black forest cake.sweet memories of past childhood birthday party at home.remembering the fun games n clown at Mcdonald.
