Multicultural Malaysia
i would like to share a one Malaysia story. My son,a typical Chinese called a ehailing ride to his Malay mechanic workshop in Batu Caves.the e haling driver was a middle aged Tamil Indian who spoke fluent cantonese to my son.Hr grew up in a Chinese village in Salak South where he picked up Chinese language. When he reached the workshop my son spoke in Malay to the Malay mechanic
to his surprise the Malay mechanic converse in fluent Tamil indian to the indian ehailing driver as he grew up in Batu Caves surrounded by indian neighbours.so when we learn each others language and celebrate open house for festivals we are richer in embracing multiculturalism and dont see ourselves based on skin colour but as one Malaysians.
