Dr Sandra Van Dort was a true blue Malaysian at heart.She graduated from NUS Singapore and the US in speech pathology.She could have stayed on to work in Singapore hospitals and make big bucks .But she returned to Malaysia to work in hospitals and do further research in academia,thus contributing to make lives better for Malaysians.Whether its stroke patients learning to speak again or kids with cleft lips and developmental delays and disability,she helped them to reconnect with the others and interact well in society.im proud to have known her and grew up together in this multi racial society i call our home.rest in eternal peace ,my friend for you are gone but not forgotten in our hearts.Happy Hari Malaysia ,a true Malaysian right to the end of her life
