European bread

Today i stood outside Chloe n co. cafe ogling the obscenely rich n delicious European pastry from canele,eclair,berliner to burnt cheesecake,baum cake n macarons.I knew it was a difficult choice between buying healthy brocolli,bell pepper,button mushroom and celery or the decadent desserts.i felt sorry for myself not being able to splurge on luxury,premium baked European goods. But when there is a will,there is a way.it fires my determination to learn from Youtube how to bake the goodies im salivating over.The lockdown during Covid is a blessing in disguise coz it helped me learn to bake my own Basque burnt cheesecake,French cherry clafoutis and Italian mille feuille so nothing is impossible and if it flops,i can try again. im gonna buy ingredients like virgin olive oil,black olives,wholemeal flour,yeast and cherry tomato to bake my Italian focacia bread.its cheaper than getting it from the pattiserie.
