The rising inflation

When the middle class is pressed hard by rising inflation,will it result in unhappiness in the ballot box?Looking at the results of the US elections,the pundits and media sorely got the wrong message by not listening to grassroots concern and the blue wall was demolished and the voters abandoned the Democrats. A leader who doesnt deal with the bread and butter issues will be booted out as at the end of the day,its what hits the pockets of the average working man that counts.Japans deflation and drop in purchasing power of the average wage earner has caused a change in power dynamics of the LDP and erosion of confidence. So before leaders become involved in other nations matters,take care of the business of their own people first.What Anthony Loke should wake up to is there is no permanent fixed deposit in voters allegiance.Dont take voters for granted or they may spring a surprise at election time.Even celebrity endorsement will not save the day.
