Wisdom

when one is feeling down n out,it helps to have a perception shift.when things are out of your control i remember the serenity prayer " please give me the strength to change the things that i can chamge,and accept the things i can't and the wisdom to know the difference."
when im feelimg trapped in a difficult dilemma,remember the temporary nature of all thimgs as " this too shall pass." a buddhist aphorism " what you think,you become what you feel,you attract what you imagine,you create" as i look at how a diminutive nun like master cheng yen has done with single minded focus and deep compassion to build tzu chi hospital,school n international aid organization to what it is,i see great compassion to relieve pain amd suffering in the here and now.a vision to save lives like the ti kuan yim ,the iron boddhisatva with a thousand arms with her charisma,she could rise to a position of great wealth n power,a leader of a nation, thd ceo of a multinational but she is selfless in showing love to the poor,the sick amd the helpless and gets recognized for what she gives,not what she has gotten.
