instead of sleeping on my tikar mat,i put the thai meditation cushion jun bought for me in Bangkok on my tikar mat to laze in and read.i collected dried leaves to add to my floral arrangement.jun says im a junk collector.i feel it looks artistic mixing dried and green leaves in an ikebana arrangement.the dead and the living coexist in the same space but never meeting as they inhabit parallel universe. i also got a labu sayong type vase for the orchids instead of using my drinking glass.it adds a touch of exotica to the marble kopi tiam table that i bought for our first home 28 years ago and shuffled from one home to another down the years.
