Song bie farewell song

i was listening to a japanese zen monk singing song bie strumming his guitar.he sang both the mandarin n japanese version on missing home and mother.the chinese lyrics were composed by a buddhist monk master hong yi.his real name was Li Shu Tong.he was a multi talented artist,calligrapher n composer who studied in china and japan.he married a japanese lady,had 2 kids before he became a monk i watched the musical on stage production of the biography of Li Shu Tomg Above the full moon in National theatre.the cast,the music compositioms,backdtop,dancing was of international standard altho it was an all malaysian cast.i really hope musical on stage put up more performances in future as im an ardent fan of this talented group of composers n musicians from kita the musical to life of buddha and princess wen cheng
