Early years of career in school and later years in varsity

so the staff was multi ethnic in the staff room in the early years of my career,indians like sarjit,pat,muniandy,siti,mrs.tan,mrs lim ,mr tune.we cook up a storm in the domestic science kitchen to celebrate national festivals and had singalong after school to enhance and strengthen teamwork.the kids gave me a farewell party when i left with a big cake.i still kept the photos and thank you cards after 35 years. the adult technicians upgrading to an engineering degree needed more independent skills of oral presentation and creative collaboration via visualization.those were days of OHP and whiteboard before powerpoint n flash animation. i feel when we empower learners to be independent thinkers and at the same time team players in group work,the skills will be experiential learning that will be transferred to the workplace.but more important than knowledge is the set of ethics we inculcate to be honest,focused and persevere despite setbacks.
