Cherry clafoutis
today im baking a classic French pastry called cherry clafoutis.its a light,fruity custard like pastry.i use omega rich eggs,monk fruit sweetener,almond and vanilla extract,enriched wheat flour,whole cream milk n 3 types of cherries ,fresh pitted cherries from Turkey,maraschino cherries and canned pitted dark cherries.the smell is so fragrant.tomorrow i will bake strawberry tarts because i bought local fresh cameron strawberries at rm 8.90 a box.i seldom go for commercial pastry after i learned to bake but i hate the cleaning up of utensils.i need to mop the floor too which is so much work.lucky after the thai massage,it has reduced my shoulder pain.
