prices of food going up like crazy.i need to plan before i buy and shop around for bargains.with shortage in wheat supply,the stock for pillsbury and green day quick bread mix is out of stock in most supermarts from Jaya grocer to Village grocer.last nite i used the last box of Pillsbury bread mix to bake a banana cranberry bread topped with slices of bananas n blueberries. today i went to bakery supply store to stock up on pastry shells,instant bread mix,shortening and cake mix. then off to wet market near closing time and got bargain lychees from China at rm15 a box,red cherry from Turkey at rm 15 a box and strawberry from Camerons,Pahang at rm 9.00 a box. im lucky Jun pays my medical insurance,utility bill and my health food like korean kombucha,almond n nut milk,japanese sencha and taiwan oolong tea.gonna share fruit i bought with blind elder sis who lives on her disability pension as shes visually impaired.she would love lychees n cherry.
