Huge gap in wealth distribution.
the latest statistic show the wealth gap in the ratio of ceo pay to the average worker pay.it shows the huge unequal income distribution.not surprisingly the highest difference is in the USA which stands at over 300.its followed by India,Netherlands,South Africa ,Switzerland,Germany,
Canada Spain.etc .
but the ratio is highest in the US and Europe while smaller ratio is in Japan and Singapore or even China.
Looking at the ratio ,its only 74 in singapore and 102 in Hong Kong
shocking in Malaysia the ratio of Ceo salary to average workers pay is 148
This is higher than in China where the ratio of CEO pay to average worker is only 127.
no wonder Tenaga National Berhad chairman earned monthly salary of rm 90,000 and annual income of 10 million and just the allowance of Felda chairman is over rm 500,000.the directors of Felda are given allowance to attend meetings while the average worker is not paid allowance to attend meeting as its part of the job.Is this the creation of concentration of wealth in the hands of the ruling elites while the ordinary citizens are given peanuts to live on.so this is the capitalist, democratic nations that is a dog eat dog world and wealth concentrated on the 1% while the 99% barely afford food, healthcare and shelter.
