on Fathers day,we had a get together for high tea with old high school mates.we chatted and ate cakes,sandwiches,pasta n coffee for 2 hours.think i will skip dinner tonite.while chatting i realised the burden of caregiving of aging parents usually fall on the daughter or daughter in law in most Asian families altho the sons are the main heirs.such gender inequality sucks.no wonder altho they say daughters are loss making goods or sit poon foh,its the girls who take care of them and give nursing care when they fall ill and frail.
