The jualan rahmah of fresh meat ,fish and grocery like cooking oil really helps in reducing cost of food when i cook.the ikan kembong or fresh mackerel is sooo fresh.i clean n gutted the fish.out of 5 fish,i used 2 to make fish cutlet or malay bergedel made of mashed potato,deboned fish meat,onion n parsley before deep frying.the other 3 i will debone flesh to cook asam laksa,a nyonya dish of noodles in tamarind soup.wish govt hold a once monthly food sale so we can buy affordable food.
