I love multi ethnic food n culture.if i retire in China,id stay in Yunnan,Guilin or Guizhou because of diverse minority tribes.the dances,music,food n clothing are so diverse n interesting.i find homogenous culture like japan n korea so uniform,conformist and same same for everything.
After viewing a hundred foot journey,this week icook nasi briyani with basmati,butter chicken n chaat masala with potato,tomato n chickpea
for dinner it was soya egg fried rice,grilled hoisin chicken n salted fish pumpkin long bean curry..im gonna make sri lanka sweet mango chutney with raisins,ginger,n cardamom n mustard seedz.i dislike lingam green mango pickle as its too salty.Jun has been brought up to interact with all races so he loves eastern n western cuisines.i need to reorganize my spice n herb collection.
