It was tiring after work to rush for medical exam at the public hospital which was crowded even at nite.it had been a long nite but i was impressed by the efficiency of the um hospital set up.payment for parking was electronic as was payment of medical bill done at a kiosk.kudos for a well run seamless system.
Slight after effect of long covid is muscle fatigue,dry mouth and loss of appetite.hope its temporary.came across an old photo n postcards i bought when i visited the forbidden palace in Beijing.many historical artifacts but not enough time for viewing as was the time i spent at Louvre museum in Paris.huge crowds and being short among towering visitors didnt make it relaxing.it was zoom and go.
Today admired the kolam of peacock college put up to decorate for Deepavalli.had a cantonese breakfast of chicken bao,fruit salad n a glutinous rice balls in black sesame.spent an hour at my favourite reading corner of the library looking at japanese art books ukiyo e portraits from a floating world and interior architecture of tropical houses.its next besr thing to spending time at a art gallery.lost in my reading world .
