Afternoon Tea yum Cha with old friends

The German teacher and my ex superior had a get together yum cha at Malaysian cafe Ali,Muthu and Ah Hock to catch up with our lives.We can chat about everything under the sun from our health,our pets,our children n ex students.Teh tarik and kopi ais are local beverages and they cook a good fried kway teow and roti jala with curry chicken. Then after i gave my German excolleague a lift home,i drove to the night market to buy my cakes and bread for next week.The nite market sells fresh produce like live fishes to cooked thai food like fried scorpions and huge sago worms.i saw sugar coated fruits tang hulu to steamed chicken glutinuos rice with plastic chickens as display . Still in a festive mood the gazebo downstairs is decorated with fairy lights.i find it beautiful to see lights at night from twinkling Christmas lights to mid autumn lantern festival to oil lamps during Deepavali to the pelita during Malay festival Hari Raya or Eid Mubarak.May all people live a peaceful n happy life.
