Fusion meals
Malaysians are creative with recipes.The Malays adapted western ingredients to Malay cooking luke spaghetti in laksa Johor.I bought burgher Malaysia for lunch.Its doughnut mini buns filled with sambal anchovy,slice of cucumber n lettuce.the filling was too little so my trick is open a can of sardine,mash it n spread on top of sambal.hmnnn im loving it as it is so delicious.today i bought hot dogs to make roti John.its wrapped in an egg omelette with minced chicken flavoured with curry powder n chopped onions
i had fried chicken chop,sausages and a salad n baked beans as sides.dessert is layered cake or kek lapis that is like germans baum cake in a roll.so malay food has a lot of western influence like soda gembira which is ice cream soda mixed with milk and rose syrup.yummy
