Growing up. in a big family

The short clip of me growing up with grandparents who cared for us,uncles and aunts and cousins who had weekend visits,and loving patents im grateful to for giving us a stable home environment which stress on strong values like no gambling or drinking or addictions.My mom sewed. our dresses and cooked fresh,fantastic food for us as the pasar besar or wet market was opposite the road.Dad had his hobbies of fishing,hunting and swimming and passed his love of being outdoors in nature to us children.Grandma could cook anything from nien gao,zhong zi dumplings to fried peanut puffs.She loved watching live Cantonese opera and wu xia movies and took us grandkids along.im glad they always put the family first and so taking care of my grandma after her stroke was my responsibility as she had looked after us when we were young. i remembered my favourite pair of red shoes mom bought for me and a doll that was put in front of the wedding car of a relative that i got as a gift.My brother was the only son of the family and he got the privilege of expensive toys like the toy sports car to drive while we daughters had hand me down toys from elder siblings or we made our own paper dolls or sew five stones to play or use rubber bands to make skipping ropes.
