To keep the child in me alive,i like reading graphic novels like manga and comics.look at the Japanese,they are so scientific and so artistic too.to stir my creativity,i like drawing storyboards to keep my imagination wild.when jun was younger i made hand drawn comics for him like the buddhist tale of two daddy long legs in a pond are looking for a new home or the tale of the wild fruit plant and the greenhouse plant and how the wild
Plant survives and thrives despite battling pest attacks ,the storms and hot sun but the overprotected plant wilts and dies when the greenhouse is broken and damaged by hailstones as
it has lost the ability to adapt to the environment coz it lives in a temperature and water regulated environment.
I bought new graphic novels .like the Lost soul,be at peace about a girl searching for her lost cat.the comic on simon the cat was so funny in how he tortures his owner n drive him nuts .Jun is so creative that he was inspired to draw a storyboard about a mermaid from Singapore named Rachel.i think i will continue his comic by how the mermaid rescued the buaya darat of Malaya and he turned over a new life and became a vegetarian crocodile.cool.Jun is undergoing a digital detox.instead of being consumed by media,he can create new ideas.he is back to playing music with tank drum ,kalimba and reading graphic novels.the virtual world is escapism from reality.
