Next Saturday is dragonboat festival.im inviting my blind elder sis over for family dinner so i went to the wet market to buy sea shrimps,fish and squid to stock up in the freezer.
I tested the healthy option of millet zongzi but it was coarse and less tasty than sticky glutinous rice zongzi.I bought the savoury zongzi with pork,mushroom,salted egg n chestnut n mung bean.My sis likes the crystal zongzi with red bean filling .i bought a Malaysian style sambal zongzi and a blue rice nyonya zongzi and a China style red date zongzi.
i got jade green lychee from Jaya Grocer and a chempedak fruit from the wet market.
