Keep fit to keep fat off

im thankful my parents brought us up healthy and fit We ate fresh,home cooked food and my late dad had his own friends and hobbies although he worked 6 days a week from 9am to 9pm in retail tailoring.Sundays he went with friends outdoor open fishing at coastal seas,lakes and rivers.or he went hunting hiking miles in rubber plantation and orang asli villages. He was a strong swimmer and took us kids swimming in the seas off Port Dickson and Morib or hiking to Kanching waterfalls to swim.He would go swimming with our neighbour at the public swimming pool in Kelana Jaya and the time he gave up workouts and watched tv or stayed indoors sleeping,he slowly got dementia ,became forgetful and glued to bingeing on food. So i decided to keep active to maintain physical and mental health.It has become a habit to exercise in the morning daily so when i cant exercise outdoors in the thunderstorm,i workout at home with dumb bells and stretch bands.i feel if i miss the exercise, my digestion is sluggish,my blood circulation sluggish and my brain is foggy.It takes self discipline to exercise and its an excuse to say we have no time to exercise.I used to keep a dumbell and stretch bands in my office drawer and do stretches after eating home cooked lunch at the office.being active prevents feeling sleepy after food. so yesterday i waited 2 hours long or more to service my car.It was early morning at 8.39 am so i miss my daily morning workout so i felt sleepy after eating breakfast.i decided to warm up at the car service visitor centre which was freezing cold.i got killer looks from other customers but at my age i dont give a shit.as long as i dont bring the place down with loud thumping noise or break the tables n chairs,i continue with warm ups,tai chi and acupressure of meridian points. i found eye candy therapy at my apartment complex.This ripped marathon runner from China is so disciplined and he says he runs 40 rounds or roughly 40 km a day.one circuit around the perimeters of the apartment complex is 1 km. if you dont cheat by taking shortcuts to the mini mart or cafe to eat n drink.His body is so lithe and wiry not bulky like a body builder.eye candy therapy in sight
