today chinese celebrate the dragon boat festival to commemorate Qu Yuan,a poet who killed himself during the warring state a few thousand years ago when the king refused to listen to his advice n the state was conquered.the value of service to the nation before self permeates the collective conscious of chinese culture like yue fei mom who tattooed the slogan sacrifice for nation on his back with a needle to remind him importance of loyalty to nation.so in the midst of this festival of family,we are thankful for those who sacrifice for the nation like our frontliners in hospitals fighting to save lives so that we have a chance to get to spemd time feasting at home.thank you frontliners.
im cooking a storm to celebrate the good news my bone has completely healed and from the helpless state 3 months ago in a wheelchair,now i can do yoga and tai chi.its been a journey from ill health n despondency to strength to stand alone unaided.its funny today i accidentally took and wore Dr Moses spectacles which wete the same colour n design as mine.guess with what lens you look at the world matters,he as a healer n me as the healed.
