Zong zhi or rice dumplings

this year i bought sweet rice dumplings wrapped in bamboo leaves instead of the fattening savoury dumpling filled with mung bean ,pork,salted egg,oyster etc.this is slightly chewy due to yellow alkaline and has red bean paste filling.had it with hot jasmine green tea and a red yeast chicken bao.so the blue siamese fighting fish is eyeing my feast.sorry you get worm meal.the white mock orange blossom or nine li fragrant has finally bloomed.i used to sit on a dark moonlit nite on the balcony meditating and sniffing the sweet smell carried by the wind.aromatherapy.i wish the jasmine or gardenia will bloom at same time
