This is a heartbreaking modern Si Tanggang of an unfilial son.The MP from Langkawi even said she showed off her festering wound to him as she applied coffee and sugar on it as she didnt want to be treated in a hospital as she was worried her son may be arrested.Thats the depth of a mothers love by a son who was fed milk from her breast and mutilated her when she had no money to give him to buy drugs.
As a society,we want the sternest punishment on drug traffickers but also address the root cause of drug addiction by young users.Poverty,peer influence,socio economic background,broken homes and so on need an integrated approach to solve it.
